At the center of that experience is founder and president Brian Emerson, whose career reflects the evolution of modern IT, from hands-on network engineering to leading enterprise-grade infrastructure, managed services, and security operations. Over the past two decades, he has built Point North Networks into a trusted partner for organizations ranging from growing businesses to nationally recognized enterprises.

This experience is not theoretical. It is grounded in real environments, supporting production systems, securing sensitive data, and delivering IT operations that businesses rely on every day.

Since 2005, Point North Networks has delivered IT infrastructure, security, and managed services to organizations that depend on stable, secure systems.

Beginning in 2017, we began working closely with companies in the Department of Defense supply chain, particularly in manufacturing and engineering. As NIST SP 800-171 requirements took hold, a clear gap emerged.

Organizations were being asked to meet complex compliance standards, but the guidance available was often overly theoretical, operationally impractical, and disconnected from real IT environments.
